Coordinator/ Choreographer Lady A's Dance Team
Mary began her journey with A's Basketball as a Lady A's dancer in the 2013-2014 season, with a combined 15+ years of cheer and dance experience including winning 6th over all in the world at the ESPN World Cheerleading Champions in Orlando FL. She has also had a lengthy coaching/choreographing career, leading her teams to numerous National Championships throughout North America. Mary has brought her experience and artistic talents to the Lady A's this season and can not wait for them to take the floor.
Cierra Moran-Guevara (Captain)
Approaching her 20th year of dance, Cierra has done it all from dancing in a store front to performing at Disney Land in Anaheim, California. She has been trained in many types of dance and is always eager to learn new genres. Cierra is very glad to be back with the Lady A's and as Captain again this season, she is excited to help lead the ladies through their second season here in Orangeville.
Stephanie started dancing competitively in her hometown of Oshawa Ontario, she then went on to attend George Brown College for Commercial Dance Studies. Upon graduating George Brown she has taught at various studios in her hometown and has been a part of many dance companies based out of the Toronto area. As well as dancing for the Lady A's Stephanie has also been a Toronto Argonauts Cheerleader for the past 3 seasons. Stephanie can't wait to see what her second season with the Lady A's has in store for her!
Beginning at the age of 3, Victoria has pursued an extensive dance education, training in Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Heels. She attended Ryerson University, where she danced and also captained on the Ryerson Dance Pak, competing in collegiate competitions and dancing on court at varsity games. She has gone on to train and perform in the professional dance world, continuing her passion after 22 years. Victoria is excited to be back on the court, this time as a Lady A's dancer, and can't wait to see what her first season has in store for her!
Katherine began her dance studies at the age of 4. She’s currently attending York University studying Kinesiology, Health Science and Dance. Katherine has trained in various styles of dance namely Ballet, Acro, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Jazz. She has danced with various entertainers like Cirque du Soleil at the Pan Am Opening Ceremony in 2015. Passionate in dance, she can’t wait to see where her journey will take her next. Katherine is excited to start her new path with the Lady A’s Dance Team.
Sandra began dancing at the age of three and has trained in many styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hip and Heels. Sandra was a cheerleader throughout high school and became Captain in her final year. Upon graduating, she moved on to the Dance Program at York University for two years and since then has been a part of various dance companies in Toronto working on an assortment of projects and events. Sandra looks forward to her first season with the Lady A's and being part of this great organization!
Approaching her 13th year of dance, Marissa has performed in competitions since she was 12. She has been trained in Ballet, Jazz and once old enough she progressed to Pointe and Heels classes, she is always eager to learn new genres. Marissa is very glad to have this privilege to join the Lady A's. She is excited to be a new addition to the ladies through this season here in Orangeville.
Luisa has been trained in many different styles of dance from a young age and has been performing professionally for the last 5 years. She has trained and performed with some of Toronto's top choreographers in productions, music videos and concept pieces. Luisa is very excited to be a part of the Lady A's new season and to experience the energy and excitement of the Orangeville A games!
